Class Description

​

Young artists will learn the basics of creating fun comic cartoon characters while using their imagination and creativity. Students will draw simple expressions, create short comic stories, color their artwork, and take home their finished comic page.

 

Students Will Learn

• How to draw simple cartoon characters

• Facial expressions and emotions

• Comic speech bubbles

• Storytelling through pictures

• Coloring and decorating techniques

• Confidence through creative expression

 

Supplies Included

• Drawing paper

• Comic strip templates

• Pencils

• Erasers

• Fine-tip black markers

• Crayons

• Colored pencils

• Washable markers

• Stickers (optional)

 

1-Hour Class Schedule

• 10 Minutes: Welcome and cartoon drawing demonstration

• 15 Minutes: Practice drawing faces and expressions

• 25 Minutes: Create a one-page comic cartoon

• 10 Minutes: Share artwork and celebrate creativity

Our Anger Management Art Workshop is a fun, interactive, and educational program designed to help students recognize, understand, and manage their emotions in healthy and positive ways. Through guided discussions, creative art activities, and practical coping strategies, students will learn skills that promote self-control, confidence, communication, and emotional well-being.

 

Program Details

• Audience: Middle School & High School Students

• Schedule: Saturday Only

• Duration: 1 Day (1 Hour 30 Minutes)

• Registration: Donation-Based Registration $50

• Art Supplies: Included

• Certificate: Certificate of Completion awarded to every participant
